| manufacturers that make tubular manifolds for our vehicles that are going to outperform the manifolds shown here, however, they are likely not going to be as reliable. It will be interesting to see over time how well these cast manifolds will hold up; I feel pretty confident that they will outlast any tubular construction, but only time will tell on that and I am sure that they have done their homework on the materials side of things. I am just stating the obvious concerns about the construction of the manifolds in terms of flow. I had my hopes up that they would be producing a set of manifolds that are simiar in design to the pentroof product, but cast out of iron. I am suprised that they didn't go with some sort of an equal-length design or optimize the runner/log junctions at least. The same effect that these manifolds will have can be realized with a few hundred dollars of work on a set of stock cast iron manis. I dont mean to sound pessimistic about them at all, I just feel let down by what I am seeing as I had my expectations up and have suggested to a number of people to try and wait for Mike Smith's design to go public before making a decision, if they can wait. Now I feel like I have made recommendations to wait for not.
